Our parish in honor of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos in Lucerne is a spiritual center for Orthodox Christians who have left their beloved Ukraine with heavy hearts and found refuge in Switzerland.
We are a spiritual family that combines Christian virtues with Ukrainian tradition to witness to the living God in Switzerland, who is the Source of love, peace, and salvation.
In our church community, families, children, and elderly people unite in prayer — each with their own story, but all united in one heart in Christ. We share joys and sorrows together, bearing the burdens of life in brotherly love. We preserve Ukrainian spiritual heritage and culture, passing them on to future generations.
Under the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, we learn to love everyone and entrust everything to the Lord, even in times of trial.
We invite everyone who seeks prayer, spiritual warmth, and living community to become part of our parish family in Christ.
